Course Summary
Obtain your Texas Childcare Director Credential by completing this 40 hour training course. Complete each lesson and any quizzes and assignments throughout the course. Once completed, you'll be ready to take the final exam. After passing the final exam, you will be able to send your credential in to Child Care Licensing, along with the other required documents they ask for and obtain your Director License.

What does the course include?
Students who purchase this online course will have access to the private Facebook Group Page that only class participants have access to. This is a great place to ask questions about the course. The instructor will sometimes pop into the group for free webinars, or for live question & answers sessions. This is also a great place for members to network with other Directors.
How long do I have access to the course?
Students will have access to the course information for the lifetime of the course. Students will be able to download all workbooks and documents needed to complete the course once inside the course.
What is the refund policy on this course?
You may request a full refund within 48 hours of the course purchase unless you have completed the course and received your Administrator Credential from the course in that time frame in which case no refund will be issued. We encourage you to log in immediately after purchasing, take a couple of the lessons and make sure this online course format is a good fit for you.
What are the qualifications I must meet to take the course and receive my administrator's credential?
To be a Childcare Director in Texas you must:
Have current First Aid/CPR Certification
Be 21 years of age or older
Meet the Education & Experience Qualifications According to Minimum Standards for Directors (After successful completion of this course, students will be awarded the Childcare Administrators Credential that meets 746.1017 option 6).
Students must have at least 2 years of experience in a licensed center or licensed or registered childcare home, along with the credential to qualify as a director under this option.
If you do not meet these qualifications, you will have to request a variance from child care licensing.
